Join us for a full day of 36 workshops on pre- and post-adoptive issues at our 31st annual adoption conference at the Rutgers University Busch Campus Center, in Piscataway, NJ. This conference is coordinated by Concerned Persons for Adoption and is co-sponsored by the New Jersey Interagency Adoption Counsel and Rutgers University School of Social Work, Institute for Families. Come celebrate your heritage!
Come celebrate your heritage with us! We come from many backgrounds through adoption and birth. This is an opportunity to teach our children about those traditions and for them to feel a sense of pride in their heritage. It’s also fun for children as well as adults to explore and taste the richness of other cultures. Bring a dish to share from your heritage, your child’s heritage, or both! 14th Annual CPFA Golf Classic:
Held at Black Bear Golf Course in Franklin, NJ. This is the only fundraiser for CPFA; the cost of the event includes breakfast, door prizes, greens fees, and a great luncheon. For more information please contact Hugh O’Neill, Ways & Means Chairperson at (973) 722-0795.

Noon-Dusk CPFA Summer Family Picnic:
Join us for a day of summer fun swimming, boating, games and activities for the whole family at the Lewis Morris County Park-Sunrise Lake Beach. We begin to gather around noon and stay until dusk at the shelter on the beach. Please bring your own picnic meal, snacks, chairs, blankets and beach toys. New this year – we need to take our trash out – bring a trash bag with you. The picnic is free for members, including swimming. Additional activities are available including the Wibit for $3.00 per ˝ hour. Pedal boats, rowboats and kayaks are also available for $5-$7 per boat per ˝ hour. Please bring a gift for your child (no more than $10.00 - $15.00 please) as well as a gift card for funds for us to purchase a gift card for a foster child within the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P), formerly known as DYFS.
